About us
After many years of working in the corporate world, spending much of our time attending endless meetings, hour after hour of driving all around the country, staying away in hotels, waking up in the middle of the night not remembering which town we were actually staying in because we were in the generic purpleness of a Premier Inn. Enough was enough!
We took the decision to step away from the corporate world to look for an alternative that was less stressful. During the first Covid lockdown we bought a van, a Mercedes Vario that we named Bam, Bam. For months and months it sat unused as the whole world paused for the pandemic. In December 2022 we finally got the van ready and set off on a 3 month adventure around France and Spain. Enjoying the freedom of van life had a profound effect on us and left us seriously considering how and where we wanted to live our lives (check out the van life page)
In between doing some boring stuff that needs to be done to pay the bills we also dabble in a bit of fitness instruction, personal training and Jamie teaches kitesurfing. We spend our spare time mostly exercising ourselves and our very energetic dog, Neo.
